I will pick you up at the airport. I will introduce you to the staff and we will take the direction of Courtebotte, a château from the XIII Th century close to the Dordogne River. To the château, four lovely rooms will be waiting for you. When every body is ready, we will take the direction of the picturesque and lovely village of Saint-Emilion.

 Visit of the undergrounds of Saint-Emilion with a short approach of the story of art and architecture. Visit of the cathedral and other interests of Saint-Emilion, medieval village classified by the UNESCO in 1999

Lunch at the Hostellerie de Plaisance **** NN., the wine negociant's restaurant of Saint- Emilion

Digestive walk through the village

Visit of Château Cheval Blanc or Château Ausone, both First Classified Growths of Saint- Emilion.

If weather allows, we will visit the higher private point of view of the right bank of Bordeaux. Then, we will be in the idle of the  "Fronsac" appellation. We will also drive to Pomerol. We will take a break to see Chateau Petrus and have a look on the vineyard.

Back to the Château Courtebotte to relax before working !

I will explain an economic view of Bordeaux, then we will have a blind test which will allow you to understand the matching and blending of each grape variety together !

Dinner at the "hunter's", a local character who cooks the poultries according to the old fashion style with organic vegetables direct from the garden.

Saturday

Departure for the Médoc by Bordeaux in order to have a view of the docks.

Visit and tasting at Château Palmer, 3rd Growth of Margaux.

 Lunch at Relais de Margaux **** L.

 Visit of Château Lafite-Rothschild or another Château by helicopter following your request.
Flight over the vineyards towards the Atlantic Ocean.

Back to the Relais de Margaux, visit of a small property, the Domaine de Jaugaret where the winemaker operates as hundred years ago…

We will leave the Médoc to go back to Château Courtebotte for relaxing.

Dinner at Chateau Grand Barrail ****, near Saint-Emilion.  

 

Sunday

Packing and departure to Les Sources de Caudalie, the famous vinotherapy spa. This gastronomic and luxury **** hotel complex is an exclusive spa.  Fly over Bassin d’Arcachon for boarding on “Riva” boat to reach the island. Down there, a squadron of waiters have prepared a collection of oysters that match with a range of White wine form Bordeaux. We are lost in a meddle of nowhere with ocean as only overview, feet onto white sand.

 Spécial lunch in “la cabane du pêcheur » Fisher man’s  traditional house. Every body bare foot to taste the best fish of the region.

Who want to take a nap? on the private beach of course.
